Power Brunch

Filipino breakfast, eaten just before lunch. No, I don’t mean Filipinoes intentionally eat it before lunch. Just that I ate it past 10:00 am, so it’s brunch.

Quick-prep just the same, but enough fill and nutrition until the evening. Note the fried eggplants. As I know, only Filipinoes fry eggplants, but it’s delicious. The green leaves is alugbati or basella alba, boiled. Yep, boiled, I don’t have steamer. Sauce: fermented fish paste ( Filipino: bagoong)

I believe no FB posters out there would post anything dipped in fermented fish paste or bagoong.
