Taiwanese Food

Another typical Taiwanes pentang, for lunch.

In it: chinese sausage slices, stir fried vegies– on the left: lentils, tofu, and egg; on the right: sauteed chayote leaves and vines.

Chayote is sayote in Filipino, whether Tagalog, Visayan or Ilocano, the 3 major dialects.

I’m still to find anyone in fb telling to everyone they had sayote for dinner or lunch.
