Taiwan’s sweet and sour pork. Taiwanese call it Gu Lao Rou or Ku Lao Rou. Why 2 possible names? Because the 1st syllable is neither G or K but sort of combination of both — either o very light sounding G, or heavy sounding K. Kind of tricky to order.
Most of the time Gu Lao Rou includes vegetables, red, yellow or green bell peppers. There’s serving of greens anyway, so this pure-pork one is just alright.
