Pig Feet for Lunch

Weekdays means getting back to the office and eating in crowded eateries. It’s a repetitive grind.

Here’s how I beat the monday blues: I look for exotic Taiwanese food, and eat the blues away.

Here I got braised pig knuckles, thousand-year-old egg (century egg) on cold tofu, and stirfried sayote (chayote).

Not bad to kick start the week!

To Filipinoes out there who have not tasted the cold-tofu, the flavor is the same as the sweet-tofu pudding that we have in the Philippines- we put sweet syrup, here they put a thick fermented soy based sauce.
